Light Weight Flywheel

has any one here anything about civic turbos with a light weight flywheel?
Some told me that Light Weight Flywheel on a civic turbo, this combination do not work so good in fact he recomend to not used at all...

has some here anything?

please advice, I am building a d16y8 turbo

For drag or street, 12lbs is recommended in general. With the lightweight flywheel, it'll just be more difficult to launch consistently.

and there are the occasional issues of strength (meaning shattering) flywheels...usually thats in really high HP cars though.
