Uhh, didnt know where to put this,


how do i get that resin off from where i took my accord emblems off, they have been off for a while, i just need to get that damn residue that is left behind off, anyone know the procedure to do this, without re-painting my car....
 
i knw the solvents, but the process gentlemen, ive tried a lot if stuff, i dont want to damage the paint, like not gonna use scotch brite... any help...
 
soak it with a solvent, let it soak for about 30 seconds or so then scrape it off best you can with your fingernails. get the last bit of residue with a rag and some solvent. if you end up removing the shine, just grab some polish and buff it out.

what is a good solvent...
 
Super clean from Schmucks. I did this on a couple emblems on a friends car, didn't take much besides 5 dollars for the solvent and some elbow grease.
