As a hiring manager I look for a lot of these things. I get especially excited when I see you have a github account.

My one pet peave about hiring people... is, they can have an impressive resume, good background check, good people skills, good skills related to the job, talk well, good eye contact basicly a perfect fit for the job but... they show up to the interview smelling like BO , teeth not brushed, running make up, or u can tell they put on make up 10seconds ago... or they shake your hand and its pure sweat....

I didn't hire 2 people recently because of this , not to mechion one guy ate 1/2 our employee snack bar when I said help ya self... 12 crispy creems later and 4 cups of soda he was good
