was driving on the highway the other day and messed around with a new M3. i got up to about 140mph (about 8000 RPM) and the car stopped accelerating but held its speed for about a minute. I kept looking at the RPM and the Speed, they started to go down. My foot was on the floor, still declining. I kept this up til I was down to about 130mph and said I better let off. It was a very slow decline. Pushed the clutch in and let it down to 80mph and was going to put it in 5th and drive normally but when I tried to bring the RPM up to where it should be, it wouldn't rev. I let the clutch slowly engage and it finally rev'ed up. Now I feel a significant power loss, especially at higher speeds (ie. 60+ mph) and a BAD power loss (struggling to climb) at around 92-93 mph.
Frustrating. Any thoughts as to what it may be, are appreciated.
