What is the method to making the type R pistons fit the LS style rods? is it worth the hassle? I cant find and used b16 pistons for a decent price in my budget, but I can get some ITRs.

most aftermarket rods use a floating style pin (pin is free in the rod and held into the pistons with snap rings at each end) - the stock type pistons are not compatible with aftermarket rods because they use a pressed in pin, which is pressed into the rod and floats in the piston
