    ^^actually I am............and insane..:)

My buddy comfirmed this by calling arp themselves, since he has the balls to ask. H22 468whp-366tq.

They are all grade 8 the only special about arp's are the heads. The machine shop we use even comfirmed it is grade 8.

YUP!!!!!!!!!! we are morons!! Now you could say you learn something new everyday..fucking wow.

you sir are a fucking retard, automotive and standard bolts are two diffrent types of fasteners! standard grade do not streach, they are brittle, tough but weak. they will not stand the vibrations a engine produces! Plus how are you going to know how many ft/lbs your goint to torque the grade 8 bolts?

you use grade 8 bolts while Ill be safe and happy with ARP

why you so mad:p is not your car we are testing this too. "Tough but weak" Yikes..

As a proffesion, working with heavy duty machines that vibrates all day, 1200hp cat engines. A 3/8x16x1/1/2 grade 8 bolts we use in our 500tons ram press tool is enought to hold the yard...500tons, not psi:huh: "tough but weak"..fucking wow:(

Yes! I'm not adviceing you to do what I'm doing, you can keep using your arp, my butt is not hurt about it^_^

tq it at 26ft lbs...not ins lbs or metrix:rolleyes:

Too bad those 3/8 bolts arent load bearing in that 500 ton presss.

I snap em of in a 30 ton easily, and the 175 ton I use doesnt have any problems rippin em apart.

You sounded impressive for a second though.

Im not mad, I just dont want you posting false info.

yes tough but weak, tough because its strong but weak because its brittle, get it? good.

thoes grade 8 bolts that are on the machinery are not holding any engine parts.

    I repeat,,,,,please don't do what I did...

I simply ask if someone have done it. I never posted again until my Mate Jhunter called me a Moron and you using ***retard*** as a compliment..lol.

As you can see, I don't care what you do with your engines, but we are all adults here you can comment with proper words.

Now, my buddy and I run this in our engines. Our engines are just fine, I have not recommended it to anyone.

Again, I simply ask if anyone tried it, I am not going to go in detail why I ask it, it was a simply because it just needs to be done for the next event.

So far so good,,,,no complains for now about our grade 8 bolts. If the mods closed this because of me implying something, I can care less.

    end/rant.
