i have a 1990 ls integra block and have pr3 jdm piston? i want to use the pr3 piston in the block i just noticed that pr3 is 1.6 liter and ls integra is 1.8...do i need a oversized rings for this cituation or i can used the rings from the pr3?
You can use the pr3 rings, since they are the same bore size. The stroke of the motor is what makes the motor 1.6 or 1.8 liters. Just realize you are bumping compression quite a bit. You also need to use the ls rods. Pr3 rods are too short.
actually this set up is for ls/vtec...ls block with a gsr head....what do u mean 3 layer gasket? is that i have to put 3 gasket so i can race my compression to the higher one?

Honda uses a 3 layer headgasket... you can change hte compression of a motor by putting a thinner head gasket in... such as a 2 or 1 layer.
Simply put the head gasket has 3 layers to it... a 2 layer has 2, a 1 layer has 1. When you get the head closer to the block it raises the compression, the further away from the block you are the high the compression.
