LS crank in GSR block?

I have a B18C1 that I am currently driving, but want to put a hardened crank. I am having a hard time finding a GSR crank that I can send out to harden, and do not have time to let the car sit while I send the crank out. I can get a LS crank for nothing, but is it the same or as good as the GSR? Aren't there more timing teeth? Also I have heard (hearsay) that the LS cranks are not as strong - is this true?

ls crank is just as strong, shit honda cranks can take a good amount of hp.

It's just as strong... you'll have to clearance some of the internal GSR components though.
