i have just bought a ls block and it is being shipped to me right now, do they have a crank sensor and if they dont how do i get around this, (my harness is wired for crank sensor)?
You cant get around the cank sensor. Yes your motor has one. If it is USDM then the sensor is in the oil pump, if its JDM or EDM then its inside the dizzy.
can i swap that oil pump for a gsr pump?
i am trying to use whatever i can off the gsr short block i have. And one more thing what exactly does the sensor do?
