Main relay problems?

I have a 97 Honda civic wich does the same thing. When I attempt to start it the fuel relay continously clicks and wont start only cranks. Please help me.

I'm having the EXACT same problems... I have a ef8 and it not starting intermittently. It has never cut off on me while driving tho. I have replaced the starter and the main relay. The day i got the new relay i put it in and it did exactly the same thing as the old one(which i took apart and cleaned). It just clicks in cadence with the key turn. but then magically it will start a few minutes later.
although usually i'm in a hurry so i just clutch start the engine...
i'm going to check all of my grounds tomo first thing.

does anyone know if this can be caused by the neutral release switch/relay?
