I swear by Honda MTF. I've tried damn near everything too.2nd best to me is the Royal Purple stuff. I forgot the exact name of it though. The Redline stuff isn't too bad either. Next thing i'm trying though is the Amsoil stuff... My experience with synchromesh wasn't great. To me it was on par with regular 10w-30 motor oil

Honda MTF if you want to use the right stuff according to the factory recommendations.

GM Synchromesh with friction modifier if you want the best feeling grind-free transmission. There are TWO kinds of GM Synchromesh- the one without friction modifier will just feel like you dumped regular 10w30 or MTF into your transmission. I forget the exact part numbers for the two- but the friction modified stuff has a part number that looks like you're just going down the number row on your keyboard.

Honda MTF only or Torco MTF is what we use in our 11,000 rpm race cars and we have not had a problem. I will tell you that you will scatter shift colors and syncros if you use just motor oil.

    Honda MTF.

It has been reformulated and is "friction modified."
