when you push more boost than your oem map sensor can register, it shows itself as a map sensor cel, correct? cause i pushed a little over 10 psi tonight, and all of a sudden i was getting a code 3 and my car was running like shit. once i reset the ecu, the light went off and everything was fine. so, i need a gm 3 bar map sensor, right? and if that is what i need, what do i ask for at the parts store? what is it off of, or what is the part number, or is there some other way of distinquishing it? thanks.
