mini me questions on heads that will fit

92-95 1.5l bottom end and a 96 d16z6 head. can i use a 92-95 sohc vtec headgasket .. ?

96 was a D16Y8
the D16Z6 was only from 92-95

but anyway you can use either the D16Z6 head gasket or the D16Y8 one
the D16Y8 one is about half as thick and will yeild a higher compression ratio

the y8 gasket will raise your compression to 10.1:1 but for some reason they are more likely to blow then the z6 gasket, so its a question of compression or reliability. i heard numorous complaints of y8 gaskets starting to leak on the swap.
