My dad is looking into a 1994 one. 2.8, Turbo, Intercooler, Diesel, 4x4.

It was imported then traded in to the Mitsubishi dealer in town. They can't service it, get parts for it or give a warranty. Are they pretty reliable vehicles?

    Same but green.

Also, I have never seen one of these ever. Interesting.

The canuck part I knew, obviously.

And if it's a british vehicle that would explain why I've never seen one.

Not for a daily driver. I wouldn't want to own a vehicle that you can't get parts for. If the starter goes out, you could be down for 2 months tracking and shipping in another one at an unknown expense.

Mitsubishi vehicles are know known for their reliability..

If it was a very rare collector car for a collection, I'd say go for it, but its just a van.. and it will end up being a total pain in the ass every time it breaks.

Yeah, except they're a popular import over here so there's gotta be some parts.

It's from Japan, you guys can't import cars?

Well, certainly there will be lots of parts that cross over from other mitsu's (engine parts, etc) but there will also be lots of parts that are totally unique. Just depends on what happens to break. Still, as a daily, I would avoid it.

    Maybe. :dunno:

Theres a local guy who can get parts and service them. He does all of the imports, mostly Skylines.

Theres also the old version which is even more popular.

We did some more digging and found a great dude. He imports them, services them and brings in new and used parts in by the container. Parts are cheap too. Now we just have to decide if we really want one.
