If you think this thread might lead to your car getting stolen, do not reply...

But, How much money do you have in your car? If you sat down and added it all up, not counting maintainance stuff, what do you think the total would be?

For Example:

My little brother and I figured out the other night that He had almost $18,000 in his 1990 CRX, counting the price of the car...

and as a result, it runs 11.9's....

anyone else?

not couting price of car, 22k

not counting the shit i bought and sold....

counting shit i bought, never used, and sold, 25k

lol

and she still doesn't run

Traded Civic for '92 AllTrac with four new tires, a new JDM motor, and $1600 cash. Added a $6 boost controller and a $7 IC sprayer system.

Essentially, I was paid $1587 to run low 13's.

Thus far I have $1600 of my own money plus all gas invested in my Si.

I had over $6000 in my Escort by the time I sold it with misc. shit and a few repair bills...

in my 97 Civic EX: coupe=$15k mods=$6k
in my 90 Civic DX hatch=$1500 for car mods=$3k

'89 Starion = 2k for the car + 5k in parts

'97 Miata = 21k for the car + 6k in parts

'92 Civic Hatch = 2.4k for the car + 7k in parts

'92 Talon Tsi = 2.6k for the car + 1k in parts

'88 Civic Hatch = 1.4k for the car + 0k for parts

'93 240sx = 2.8k for car + $140 bucks for new SPA steering wheel and momo hub thus far.

thats about it, might be missing one car, can't seem to think.

$1000 for the CRX, $350 for the shipping is what I have invested at the moment.
Only $200 saved up right now. I had $5000 but it had to go to my parents in an emergency.

I estimate about $10k will be spent total on it.

91 Civic with z6 swap and 6 years of owner ship car 3,500 plus probably 6-8 grand over 6 years.
95 Blazer 350 for headers and cat back
03 s10 zr2 19.6k for truck, 2-3 in mods
89 crx si 1.5k for the car and about a grand into it for repairs and tires.
04 Silverado 1500 24.6k for the truck and then about $200 into it for mods. I hav eonly had it a week

I don't want to think about it...too many car's...too much money....and I would prolly go insane on what I really could have bought with that money.

you guys are nuts.

93 mitsubishi mirage
$1300 cost
~$2200 in parts for full suspension, and turbo.

that is all. i plan to spend another 5-600 for prettying up the car and the misc turbo stuff i need.

91 Civc Si B16a Turbo... I'd say I'm pushing 20k, and I drive it about a month a year, on average.

since i'm carless, i'll just go through what i use to have

90 s-10 - 2500 for it, around 10g's dropped into it
95 civic coupe i had.. 3850 for it and about 2g's into it

the rest of my shit was just bought how it was, except minor shit.

97 Saturn-3500 for the car, 500 in mods 250 for tires that are bald after 8k miles (still slow as fuck and my sister fucked that shit up...2 broken rods.)

92 Civic DX- 800 for the car, 500 for body repairs, "around" 1200 for the swap, and coming around 450 for the turbo set up.

82 ford F-100- 500 for it, 900 for 3 clutch repairs

79 Volkswagen Rabbit- 0 for the car, less than 100 in repairs

87 Honda Accord- 750 for the car, no mods, and about 600 in repairs.

89 Dodge Caravan- 1200 for it back in 97 (1st car/van), thousands of dollars in transmissions and installations.

if my calculations are correct I've spent a total of......$4800 thats including my turbo kit, ls/vtec set up and rims.

$4800 (in mods) + $16000 (car) = $20,800
