More on the Mini-Me

I've done searches on this website, other forums and google and have yet to get all my questions answered about a mini me setup. Can you just swap in the new head and use your stock equipment or do you need to swap in an intake and fuel system too? Also, are all D16Z6 & D16Y8 heads VTEC? I've noticed some valve covers say it while others do not. Lastly, can a turbo be added to this setup in the future without negative consequence and which turbo would work with this engine?

what year and model car do you have? if 92-95 use z6 head. if 96-00 use y8 head. y8 intake manifold is always better. all z6 and y8's are vtec.

the 93 z6, and i think almost all the y8 VC's are sans "VTEC" lettering, but they all are.

you will need to head, computer, and tmiing belt.
if your car was dpfi (some 4th gens) an mpfi conversion is required as well.

turbo is a turbo... you're practically just building a z6 when all said and done...

So besides figuring out if I have dpfi or mpfi, I'll need a computer and a timing belt. (from a 92-95 with a Z6 engine?)
