    So im a litte confused, I have a stock 94 Civic ex with headers and a c.a.i. and ive noticed a increse in power and I havnt figured out why this happend. Before it would only burn out in second with a lil erhhh, but now its more like erhhhhhhhhh and I beat my cousins b16 del sol all the way till 5th by like 2 cars.Before he beat me in every gear and I dont know why but im :D . So has anybody had this happen b4 or can I get a explenation as to why this happend?

    no they are about a week old, just the tires in the front are brand new.

    new tires come with a protective coating or film...
    that might explain why you can rip em better...?
    any chance you got thinner tires? or diffrent size tires?

    other wise i would have to agree with above, more oxygen rich air? or better gasoline?

    Nope brand new stock tires and for the record my car still ripps in second with ma girl in it :fuckyou:

    check your timing, my 92 used to jump and pick up a ton of top end, but would idle rough and had 0 torque

    carbon building up in the combustion chambers, you're running at 13 to 1.
