motor swap for a 97 civic dx

    well i blew the lil crap 1.6 sohc in my civic and now i want to put in a new motor. i really want to do a ls motor swap (1.8 dohc non vtec) but i might be stuck just puttin the same style motor back into it. id like all the help i kan get to make this swap easier and maybe even some tips to make that 1.6 run strong. so any help is welcomed }=)

    you need to tell us what you are going to do either the LS swap or the sohc and give us a price limit. hmotorsonline.com tends to be the favored place to buy from or check with your local junkyard. try looking in the "Swap Info" section of this page, it might answer some questions.

    Hey, I have the same car with the same problem and plan to do the same thing(LS swap). I might have some advice, just email me and ask me a question. Also, if you get any good info, be sure to let me know too!!
