motor swap for a 97 civic dx

well i blew the lil crap 1.6 sohc in my civic and now i want to put in a new motor. i really want to do a ls motor swap (1.8 dohc non vtec) but i might be stuck just puttin the same style motor back into it. id like all the help i kan get to make this swap easier and maybe even some tips to make that 1.6 run strong. so any help is welcomed }=)
