Mounts

i have a friend with an hf crx who gotta hold of a d17a2 out of a new civic ex. my question we are wondering is since his original mounts are d-series, does he need to get a mount kit to drop that engine. we basically need all the knowledge about this drop that anybody has like mounts shiftlinkage axels ecu wiring harnesses, anything. any input would be great. thanks a bunch.

I'd look into trading it for a d16z6 or something else that is obd 0 like the car...Don't know if your tranny will mate to the d17 (hydro or cable clutch). But that's just me.
