so we all know this is microsoft right?

so what do they do...??

they move to web standards.

Code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"><html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en-US" lang="en-US">

and they fucking blew it.

http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&ur...A//www.msn.com/

Errors: 130

why? why bother?

if you obviously can't code a site to STRICT xhtml markup, then why the hell would you go through the hassell of documenting it this way?

god they suck.

I have no idea of the meaning nor implications of anything that's been stated.

I feel blissfully moronic, and I love it.

Requires a membership. Doh.

My head still buzzes whenever I try to contemplate this issue. It's a nice, low, soothing buzzing.

most probably cause for having to log in

thats the whole point though dude.

why not just go:

<html>
and be done with it?

no- they took the time to use a standardards based DTD, and by the looks of their code, and using html 4.01 loose at best.... not xhtml 1.0 strict.

fucking idiots.

no wonder windows fucking sucks.

Well, there down to 8 now! How can a Microsoft programmer really launch a site live w/o testing it backend first. I cannot launch a simple Contact Us page w/o beating the shit out of it first. Figures.

Why do they launch an operating system with more holes than a block of swiss cheese?

They wanna get it out the door and get that money in their pocket.

Back to 28. One step forward, 28 steps back. Sounds alot like XP SP2. Setting the industry standard again!

I have no clue what any of you are talking about. Other than the words: Microsoft blew it and that it sucks
