my B16 is idling @ 4000 rpms

my B16A has been acting up on me for a while now....at first my car was idling at 1500 rpms then gone up to 2000 rpms then 3000 rpms now its at 4000 rpms it just keeps on getting worst...i checked all my vacuum lines...no leaks...just changed out my stock ef fuel pump for a gsr fuel pump...just changed oil and recent tune up on my vehichle...what could be the problem???

can anyone help me out????

under the throttle body on the back side of the intake manifold there is a circular plate w/ 2 little screws. take that off and there is a circular nut on top of a spring see if it tight and if not tighten it down. its kind of tricky but thats what was wrong with my b16a try it and let me know.

check/adjust the throttle cable and trying adjusting it down via the adjustment screw on the throttle body...
