!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!
I am taking this economics class this semester and the teacher, thinking he is slick, decides to have all the students maintain a blog on economics. . . . interesting huh?

Anyways, do me a favor and subscribe to my blog so that i get hits. If I have a lot of hits, then I will get a good grade on the assignment since the students are supposed to check eachothers blogs and whatnot (dont think im trying to slack off, but the winner gets a grade bonus for participation). Thanks.

Cliffnotes,

1.) Crappy class assignment = maintain internet blog

2.) Subscribe to my blog so that I get hits and thus, a good participation grade for the assignment.

Thanks y'all

P.S. if you are an economics guru then feel free to tell me what you think is erroneous regarding my posts.

I'd be glad to tell your teacher what's erroneous about his BRAIN.

How many people do you know that actively just go out and search for fuckin' BLOGS to read??? Maybe 2% of all blogs on the internet actually see regular visitors, and those are the ones that have extremely funny or insightful postings. Everything else is just emo drivel, and the thought that there is a professor out there - a degreed instructor in a HIGHER LEARNING INSTITUTION, who thinks he can get away with grading his students based on how many hits their "econ blog" gets, should be SHOT IN THE FACE.

/rant

I'll see what I can do after I get home as far as signing up. But only because you asked.

And maybe you should give me this prick's email address so I can send him hatemail and sign him up to be spammed with bestiality porn sites.

I should actually address this now before too many people get the wrong impression.

Its not a life or death situation, it will only impact a little of my participation grade as the students are supposed to check eachothers and what not. The whole thing is just stupid.

Since the country's economic revival started in late 2001, Greenspan and the Federal Reserve have been doing everything in their power to decrease the risk of inflation.

ohh boy....

Haha, B just think, you can have your weekly dose of Econ along with your morning coffee.

Yeah, unfortunately it's an MSNBC article. Slight bias there.

If I use Wall Street Journal articles (which i would like to seeing as how i subscribe) then nobody can view the links i post online.

Any suggestions for a good place to get articles that have a different bias than our own left wing media? And no, i wont be checking al-jezerra.

Oh, it's pointless trying to find a right-bias. Only zany and kooky people report on the right. www.newsmax.com, www.freerepublic.com (Who is actually very well put together) and even Fox staffs their anchor desks with complete idiots (O'Reilly) Drunkards (Brit Hume) and near sinister whack jobs (Ann Coulter). It's tough to get real news - So you have to evaluate what you read and see, and then pick out the garbage banter and punditry from the real news and make your own opinions.

This is life.

I, for instance, do www.cnn.com every day. I start my magical journey there. Then I go to Deutsche-Welle (www.dwelle.de) then to Fox, then Newsmax, then to www.islamicity.com (Good stuff, really) then take side trips to see what kind of fiction BBC has to offer, and ABC (Who is not only a known international terrorist organization, but no longer allowed in Russia).

Deutsche-Welle is by far, the best of them all. The problem is, when you choose a different language, you get different news (They don't report Zimbabwe news in English, only in either German or ... Zombabwean.)

^ Good info. I will definately check some of those sites before i post my next entry.

Thanks

I would hope it's not life or death. Well - it might be for him, but I don't envision myself ever being in the same room as your teacher.

I don't know why, but the whole idea kinda struck a nerve.

It is kinda scary to realize the downturn higher education is taking . . . .

hence my becoming increasingly jaded with the entire process. it's staggering!
