Ok i last week i put on my apex worldsport exhaust and in the process my cat fell, ripping the wires from the O2 sensor connection, I stuck them back in in what seemed to be the corret pin locations and no problems. Saturday night I went out for a little and lined up to a 240sx, beat him, then he wanted to go again, well on my launch my check engine light came on went into "limp" mode and got my ass smoked. Im guessing that the pin or pins came out of the connection on my O2 to cause this. It seems to be running fine other than its slow as hell.
My questions are:
How do i reset my ECU to eliminate the dummy light? do i need a OBD1 scan tool?
Other possible reasons why this light is on
*This is for a 95 gsr.*
Thanks.

reseting ecu= disconnect ground from battery, then pump the brakes to get all the juice out of the system.

if you throw a code again, make sure to get it so you know what code your throwing.

if you wanna know how to read the codes you don't need a reader, just :readfaq:

using the brake lights to get all of the extra electricity will clear the ecu.

so  yourself

lol, ya..
