My Nano won't hold a charge for more than a half hour. It's a 2nd Gen. Guess I got my money's worth. But now I'm in the market for a new one.

What do you guys have? Honestly don't care if it's Apple. I'm more focused on the price point, which tends to eliminate Apple. Would like 4-8GB, so nothing crazy, but I'd like it to be under $100. Looking at these right now. In the order I think they rate.

ive got a sony one (a few models above that one)... i love it... the sound quality is awesome... the interface is nice and easy... it plays pretty much ANY format... and loading stuff to it is as easy as connecting the device to the computer and dragging and dropping files/folders to the device
the one thing i dont like is the proprietary charging/transfer cable

my mom has one of those sansa clip deals... got a refurb off woot for like $10... works fine for her and shes been using it for a few years

    no experience with the colby

I tend to lose this kind of stuff so I just buy nano's off craigslist it seems every year. Never paid more than $50, and never had one break.

I'd prefer not to get used stuff in this case. I have no problem with refurbished though.
