need help asap 2000 civic ex

my sis 2000 civic ex is on the frits. when i go to start the car the power weakens the lights dim. when i turn on the head lights every light dims. some time when i turn on the lights the head lights turn on and the lights in side go off. it wont even rotate. my sisters after market radio burnt out a few weeks ago

start at the basics, have the battery and alternator checked

Bump alternator issue...


The easiest way to test an alternator is to DISCONNECT the negative terminal from the battery. if the car dies then it is your alternator. DO NOT RECONNECT THE NEGATIVE TeRMINAL IF THE CAR CONTINUES TO RUN..

keep in mind this can fry you ecu, so i wouldnt try that at all
