need help

whats up. i have a yellow signal on my dash board under my left turn signal, it says check and has a box surrounding it, looks something like this:

|_| check |
| |______|

i have a 1996 honda civic hatch cx. can anyone tell me what this means or where i can find info about the dash signals.

that would be a check engine light my friend, also known as a CEL. check the FAQ in the forum section of this site for more info.
