need help

My engine just went to my 98 civic. I had a D16y7 and i was wondering what would be the best engine to put in there without a bunch rewiring and all that. I want to know what my other choices are besides the D16y7 thank you

There are plenty of other choices. It all depends on how deep your pockets are, how much work you want to put into this, and what your goals are with the car.
If you are looking for some more power but dont really feel like doing a swap, maybe buy another d16 block and boost it.
B series is always a good route to go. B18B is a great motor in the Civic. As well as the B16, and B18c is also very common.

A B-series swap will be your easiest option other than replacing the D16.
