no - the 87 Si transmission will not bolt to the D16A1 - to swap the A1 into your car, you need the engine, transmission, intermediate shaft, axles, shift linkage and ECU from 86-89 Integra - easiest to use the 86-87 since it has vacuum advance ignition like the Si, but the 88-89 D16A1 is 5hp more than the 86-87 - to use the 88-89 A1, you will need the 88-89 ECU and you will need to do a bunch of wiring - to use the 86-87 A1, it will plug right into everything and you use the 86-87 ECU - the best way to do it is to buy a mostly complete 86-89 Integra to use as a donor car
