New bulbs--which have you tried

I have projector headlights and I'm REALLY unhappy with the light they produce.

I do not have the money for new headlights right now, so I am wanting to buy some better bulbs. These are what are on Ebay:

HID SUPER WHITE H3 XENON BULBS SAFETY 55W $6.99

5800K XD5 H3 Xenon/Krypton Quartz Bulbs 55W $19.99

H3 55W HID GEN X Platinum Blue Series Light $9.99

NIB Piaa H3 Platinum 55W Xtra Bulb 85w No Res $9.99

Are there any differences? Which have you all tried? Are they at all better than what I have?

The PIAAs are about the only quality bulbs in that list... I ran a set in my Denji Projectors, and they're alright- but it's the housing that dictates how bad your beam pattern is. Most aftermarket projectors for Civics are made all for looks- the beam patterns generally suck.

That said, PIAA makes some of the best bulbs on the market.

the Sylvania Silver Stars are pretty bad ass. bright white, no blue tint. i got mine when i worked at autozone. i've seen them at wal-mart too tho.
