Finally I got an American cluster for my Civic so I could replace the JDM cluster that came with my car.

I hooked it up today and all seemed to be fine, I took it for a spin once I got it all back together and noticed the speedometer wasnt working. All other guages are functioning properly. When I start the car the speedometer needle comes up and little just like the one in my Dad's Accord. When I start to move though, it dosent go any higher. Any ideas or did I just buy a broken cluster?

Was the speedo plug into the USDM gauge cluster exactly the same as your JDM one? Do a visual check and also make sure none of the pins are bent or missing. Otherwise, when I put a JDM tranny into my Si, the end going into the tranny had to be swapped with the one from my old USDM one.
