Alright I had to replace my dash to theft. The bastards kicked the sh@t out of my dash to get my deck (and it was a stock deck wtf). I have since replaced my dash with a new one, but am left with a double din hole where my deck used to be. I am gonna put in my old pioneer 8400. I got a harness from a friend for free :). Do i need a dash kit to install it?
 
If you get a dash kit it will fit in there the best, otherwise you would have to make a custom thing to fit in the dash since the cd player is smaller than the stock tape deck, with the dash kit you will have space to put stuff under your cd player.
