New to the EF

I just recently bought an 89 civic si with a B16a2 and was hoping you could answer some questions for me. I had a 97 civic hatch with omni coilovers. Could I put these on my new 89 civic. Is this possible?

Yes you can, you'll need the 97's fork up front. Im not sure on the rears good luck.

I was also wondering what parts transfer from a 97 civic to a 89 civic? If it has a cable to hydro conversion what shifter is used. I have the 97 skunk2 short shifter.
Can this work?

You can use the skunk2 unit. 88-00 civics use basically the same design shifter.

What things are compatible from the 96-00 civic or to the 89-91? Brakes, suspension, etc

Uhhh... Dam good question. I know with some mods you can install the seats from you 96-00 into the EF... Other than that, I dont know.
