Newb question about ZC SOHC

Well, I am going through a quart a week of oil in my 1991 Civic SI and I am thinking on getting a JDM motor. I like the Hp of the ZC SOHC motor with a almost just drop in installation. I've seen them with just motor for sale. Will my SI tranny fit the ZC engine? If so, is there anything I need to know about the clutch, since I'll be replacing it while its out along with water pump, timing belt, and get a light crank pulley.

Everything will swap right over. Sometimes I've had to put in a plate for the manual oil pump but that's not a big deal. great little motors.

That is great. I will have about 1500 to 2000 to do this swap and I want to install a pulley, headers and intake. I am guessing adding a 20-30 HP. Any other suggestions for bolt on type stuff I should consider getting before putting it back in?

With the DOHC isnt there some modifactions that prevent it from a drop in installation?

not really i just got a dohc for my dx and from my info i will drop right in....here is a link that i am using....... FourthGenHatch
