Did Emmitt Smith have 22,000 rushing yards or total offense? Me and a friend of mine are pretty big football nuts and were debating how far Ladanion Tomlinson is from tieing/breaking Smith's record. He said something like 7000 yards and I said 10,000. I looked it up and it only said 18,000 rushing yards but when I added in his recieving yards and it was like 21,000 yards. I am confused.

LT-rushing=10650 receiving=3375 Total from scrimmage= 14025

Total yards from scrimmage to catch emmitt= 7554
total rushing to catch=7705

thanks man I looked that up too and those are the numbers I got. but it doesn't seem right

well LT hasnt' played nearly as long as emmitt. he already caught him on receiving.

technically, that isn't the total yards from scrimmage.

LT has thrown for 7 td's and 174 yards

true by the time Tomlinson is done he will have every rushing record there is. He is probably one of the best first round picks ever. The only sad part is he plays for San Diego. lol
