The clears definitely look better! And I would also say to just fix the plate in the stock location... but then again, I just like things to be symmetrical... lol

Do what I did, get the oem lights that are clear with a orange reflector in them, take out the orange reflector and use orange bulbs

Very nice but he has a '89 and I think they're different than a '90 or '91 but he could put orange bulbs in there instead of blue ones.

nope same light, I noticed i have a shity plastic crome backing so ima put the oem ones back and see how that works.
 
Final Vedict

So i got it all worked out, I took the shinny fake crome backings and put the amber lenses on them.
