noises coming from my head

I noticed a slight chater in the head of my h22a. i tought nothing of it but latley it has been getting louder at idle. i was wondering what could be causing it my oil is fine and my car runs good should i adjust my valves? or any other suggestions thank you

sounds like valve lash. if thats within spec, could be you LMA's (Lost Motion Assemblies) They are the little semi-cone shaped things that rest just under the middle rocker arm. Mine went bad on my 1g b16a and made terrible clacking noises. I replaced them with newer ones and everything was fine. pull your valve cover off, and press down on the middle rocker arms for each cylinder, release your hand quickly, if the rocker sticks and thencomes back up, bad LMA's. If the rockers returns right as your finger does, they are good.
