I was wondering whats up with this obd thing I was told that is gose by the year of the car but was wondering whats goes were and what can be interchanged

do a search for it...its sooo many places on this site, i know i have seen it on at least 3 threads in the past month...but since im typing ill be nice 88-91=obd0 92-95=obd1 96-up=obd2, 0 can be converted to 1 and two and be converted to 1, technically 0-2 or 2-0 is possible but would be completely stupid and pointless...
