When I'm ready to put my 96-01 OBD2 B20 in, what engine accesories must be swapped for OBD1, I know the distributer, but I'm not sure about the alternator, fuel injectors, or starter. It's for a 92 Civic. Please help me on this.
well you are going to have to find an obd1 dizzy a set of obd1 injectors and you are going to need a obd1 ecu which would be easier for you to use i think a p74 or a p75 obd1 it will be easier for you less codes too then what your obd2 ecu will have

I have a 92 civ wired obd1, and a 99 gsr eng(obd2), with the stock engine harness running to a obd1 p72 ecu and everything works fine. I dont know if that would work with a b20.
I'm wondering the same thing with my 1995hatch b20swap it runs like crap it will not accelerate and I have obd2dizzy and Injectors on a p75 what do I need to do to make it go fast...
Yeah I've been reading a ton of things on the internet and some people say that you can use the obd2 injector and distributor but that doesn't really make sense seeing how a obd1 computer is controlling the parts and less they operate the same electronically what type of fuel injector s should I use for the B 20 it rus right now but I cannot even on the freeway without it leaning out it seems as if the ECU is not telling the injectors to spray more fuel at those high rpms now what is this resistor box I have an obd1 car and ECU and do I need one of those or do I take it out I don't know if I have one
resistor box is for obd 0 style peak hold injectors. obd 1 and 2 are both saturated style. if you swapped plugs to line up, you're ok there.
but the dist is different and needs to be changed.
