obd2 dizzy on obd1

my car is obd1 and i wanna put the obd2 dizzy in it..

the guy selling the engine doesnt have the dizzy so would i be able to use my obd1 dizzy?

my car is carby so i know i would need fuel tank/pump/lines

i would also need an ecu and wiring harness correct?

am i missing something at all?

its a d16y8 engine

i am not sure however i am going to put the dizzy from my d15b7 (93 civic)into my d16y8 in 5-7 days so i will let u know how it works after the swap
i have been told that it fits and works well
so am gonna try it

ok i've found a diagram to rewire my obd1 distributor to use on obd2 engine but i'm having a little bit of trouble understanding it

could someone please explain this to me...

the dizzy of your old motor if its a d15b7 motor THE D15B7 DIZZY WILL FIT AND WORK ON THE D16Y8
