I have a 91 crx hf i want to put a d16y8 motor in. what ecu should i use. i figured just a p28 ECU would work and i can just get the OBD0 to OBD1 jumper harness. One problem is that the plugs for the censors on the D16Y8 intake manifold dont match up with the plugs on my engine harness. i figured i could just use a crx Si intake manifold so the plugs will match and that would work fine. Also what distributor should i use? I know the OBD2 distributor has plugs on it that dont match up with my engine harness plugs also. then i would just need to wire up the vtec, knoc sensor, and 4 wire O2 sensor. Am i heading in the correct direction or what? thanks for your help.
P.S. I have the wiring harness for the D16Y8 if i need it but i have been told just to use my stock crx hf harness. thanks again
