oil chage

how many quarts does the 1.5 in my 1992 civic hold i think its 3 1/2 but i was told it was 4

I would just say to put in the oil till the dipstick reads full, thats the easiest way, but per the service manual it looks like 4.0 for an overhaul and 3.3 for an oil change. So I would say go with 3.5 for now and add as you need. -Gary

well i put in 3 1/2 and the cad about 1 quart in it that sucked ass but she is running alot better now but the sparkpluggs thats where shit does not look to good a bit of oil and just the way they burned was not right
