So I got raped on H-T posting this which was no surprise at all to me. I have had a hiatus from Hondaswap and have been spending a lot of time on H-T but I realized its time to go back to my roots and where the people always treated me fair even though H-T seems to get more traffic for selling shit I think I will post my new build on here once it begins. LS vtec is basically getting torn down after years of quality service to me and I'm replacing it with a gsr block and my old gsr head from the lsvtec. GSR block has usdm itr pistons but I will show all that once i start a build thread. Whats up old friends? What do you guys think? Just a street port and polish and valve job, new bronze guides, new valve seals, supertech flat race valves, supertech retainers alum., supertech dual valve springs, new style lma's. I spent $692 total including new guides and seals, porting and polishing, recon etc. Supertech stuff obviously wasnt included in the $692. LOL I know it was to keep track of my head but I liked this I will have a build thread again like my lsvtec one I did years ago thats in my sig. hopefully flame wars will not happen here. yes the cam journals are mediablasted a bit but i dont think its really as much of an issue as people make it, i have all new parts going into the head and im sure with oil and plenty of moly lube it wont be an issue, i dont think the guy sat there and aimed at the journals directly for 5 mins and removed tons of material.. FYI going with BLOX B competition cams.
