Doesn't interest me, been to the porsche scene and back. Drove something like that a while ago, wish i had money to buy one.

+ on the driving experience, looks, and just the overall car
- on the price

My dad's buddy who coincidently has a euroshop
is totally customizing a '86 944 turbo including much more uptodate stuff. I was told he's spending upwards of 20+K on the engine swap alone.

If I have access to a digi I'll take pictures if my dad takes me to visit the shop soon. It's supposed to be a track purpose street legal car, so I'm pumped.

Can't be too many... they were never sold here- so I imagine that it would be something like Skyline importation, but less common.

Bill gates waited something like three years for his. There was a big article about them in autoweek about a year ago. For the longest time, they weren't alowed in the country. Many rich people lobbied to get legislation to let extremly rare cars into the us, mainly just because of this car.

whats the big deal? why wasnt this car allowed in the states?

it dosnt met the safty features for drivablitly in the usa.. hey if bill gates was smart he would have imported it as parts , and kept it for just a display car -=p

that once again proves that you can't put 'smart' and anything associated with microsoft in the same sentence.
