:( Ok i have a 89 civic Dx....i am in the middle of putting a D15a v-tec engine in it.....i was told that all i need to do the swap would be a wireing harness and ecu out of a 92-95 civic si and that everything would bolt and hook right up.......well as i went to change the ecu and i found that it doen't hook up to the new ecu.....what should i do about this???......also how do i use the new harness?? :( do i need to do sum re-wireing?

first off, are u sure its not a d15b? in any matter, the most painless way for you to do this swap properly is going to be by first doing the dp to mpfi conversion, then run your subharness for vtec wires, and run a obd0 pr3 or equivalent ecu. the are quite a few other ways to do this, but none that are much easier. all of the info you will need can be found by using the search function on this forum. good luck!!
