Right guys, heres our situation.
I have a Civic VTI which uses the B18c4 engine (obd0) which is now dead.
I've just bought a 94 CRX Del sol VTI which has a good B16a2 engine (obd1).
I am in the process of putting the b16 engine into the civic to replace the dead b18 lump.
Heres where I am so far:
B16 slotted into the civic.
B18 injectors fitted to engine
B18 dizzy fitted to engine
All wired up using the original b18 engine loom.
I've now plugged in the original b18 obdo ecu (which is a P9K) and fired it up.
The car seems to run/drive great at the moment with plenty of power etc..
My concern is that I am running a 1.8 ecu on a 1.6 engine!
Will this cause me any problems? will it pump in too much fuel for the 1.6?
I'm pretty confident when it comes to the dirty part of swapping engines etc.. but when it comes to ECU's a really have no clue!
Please help
Many Thanks.
