A guy is selling a 98 integra gsr on honda-tech forum. He said the car is in great condition but it smokes. He told me that the valve seals need to be replaced. The problem is that smoke come out of the exhuast during start up and when you go full throttle. The car has 80,000 miles and he wanted $8,000. DO your think this car would give me any trouble in the future and is it a good deal? Also, how much do your think it would cost to get this fixed at the shop? THanks for your help. greatly appreciated.

For a start, get the Kelly blue book values on that car... www.kbb.com then take it from there. I'm too lazy to do it for you, but find the value range for that car in good condition, then start subtracting for the costs to fix its engine problems.
