I am currently using a pm6 to run my b16 for now untill I get a pr3 or pw0 and want to know if it's safe using that ecu.I have a Fields vtec controller for the vtec and fuel.

You're v-tec controller is worthless with that ecu since ur v-tec doesn't work.

No, a VTEC controller can control VTEC on top of an ECU that doesn't have the capability...

You're probably ok running that ECU as long as you've got your fuel and VTEC engagement point trimmed in correctly, but you really should change out to a B16 ECU.

yup my buddy was running a chipped pm6 ecu, and running the vtec on a rpm switch untill he got his pr3 ecu......way faster with the right ecu....spend the money. do it right.
