kinda funny....
cuz i work at Global Recycling (which is where i am now)
we deal w/ scrap copper, metal, aluminum, and alloy...:)

thoughts off pocketing a few bits of copper HAS crossed my mind... lol
 
i would have to pocket it...
what we do is seperate everything into diff. piles (copper w/ copper, aluminum w/ aluminum.. etc) then load it on a truck and its then shipped off to china...
 
yep, 1942's are steel.

they really aren't worth a whole lot more than any other 40's penny. they made a metric shit ton of them.
 
its still a $4 coin. nothing to write home to mom about.
 
so i know that a nickel shortage has drove up the price of stainless steel so what does any one know what that does to the value of a nickel
 
umm... today's 5 cent pieces are only 25% nickel, and 75% copper.
there's actually more copper in a nickel than in a penny.
