power problems ??

hey peps
new problem for the civic
i let me girl take my car yesterday and well as you can guess it's now broken sitting four towns away gotta luv it

anyway problem is no juice i charge the battery and the car runs till the battery dies
so i replaced the alt, thinking that would be the problem got nothing same thing runs and dies
got another alt, same thing
pulled the battery used my moms battery same thing
i looked it over for possible ground shorts can find any well can see any anywhere
any ideas ???

o and i'm getting a code 20 on the cel

hey peps figured it out

the charging circuit for a civic is also in a curcuit with the ABS if you trip your ABS the car stops charging and no power

mind you i got this info after i pulled the entire wire harness out of the engine compartment and went through the whole thing looking for shorts it was a very long sunday after noon LOL...........
