I was perusing the reference section and could find nothing as to whether of not this is a recommended swap.
 
Do not use the prelude motor in a civic, its a POS, and wont fit in with any mounts u can find, it is by FAR the worst engine honda ever made.
 
If you are talking B21 then you are correct.

If he wants the 92-96 Prelude S or Si. Don't bother with the F22 out of the Prelude S, but the H23 from the Si is a decent choice.

EDIT: I don't know anything about the logistics of this swap, I am only saying that it is worth investigating further.
